Tarte Tatin Banane

Mmm, so quick if you have a packet of chilled puff pastry to hand…

Now I do like to cook – but I draw the line at puff pastry, croissants, etc.

Life is just to short!


50g Butter
75g Soft brown sugar
3 Bananas sliced
1 Packet of puff pastry

1. Pre-heat the oven to 200c.

2. Spread the butter around the base of a flan dish/tin.

3. Sprinkle the sugar over the butter.

4. Scatter the sliced bananas over the sugar.

5. Roll out the pastry as big as the flan dish – cover the bananas and tuck in any edges.

6. Bake for  25 mins until pastry is well risen and brown.

7. Carefully upturn onto a large plate – slice & serve with thick cream!
